Saw a fire safety film at work last week. The film was Copyright 1991, which explained the hairstyles and clothing choices (pre-Gapification, big hair). One specid thing about the move: The narrator/host walked out of a stairwell and on to an office floor. There was a weird background noise as he spoke and people went about their staged work. The noise? Electric typewriters. Nary a click of a computer keyboard.
I think the last time I used a typewriter was 1998.
Several new CD purchases, most notably Los Lobos: El Cancionero. U2: All That You Can't Leave Behind, and Geddy Lee: My Favorite Headache. More on these later.
Flash generally sucks, and to find it on www.myfavoriteheadache.com is a bit annoying. I'm not sure I like having to go to a web site to get the lyrics for a CD. At least there's a place there for official news and info about a possible tour. Let's see if the notify list they have is actually used.
