Popped open the 12-cd wallet I have in my briefcase and went to the back, where the Judybats' Down in the Shacks Where the Satellite Dishes Grow sat neglected in the last sleeve for the last six months or so.
It's a good early-90s "college rock" CD, and the band's second album. They released a couple more cds (also quite good), then were dropped by Sire in 1994 or so, if I remember correctly. The mailing list I was on back then was quite productive, and I've got a couple shows on tape (VHS) and even a limited-edition cd of outtakes and rarities (I think only 25 or so were made; this was back in the pre cd-r days)
Aside from an official site for a reconstituted vesion of the band, they've pretty much dropped off the face of the web.
