Didn't realize I had done one of these last year as well.
January: A list of to-dos for 2008. Did OK on most of them. Not as much running or cycling as hoped, although I did get a Garmin Forerunner 305, which is a great gizmo. Ended up buying a new camera. Did not organize the CD collection just yet. Podcasts? Only did five last year (E-mail me for the radio show URL, if you're interested.) Broke Moveable Type. (Monthly templates are still broken, as a matter of fact.) Not sure if I read more books.
February: Got a Garmin Forerunner 305.
March: Was excited that Yes was going on tour.
April: Guillermo del Toro was signed to direct The Hobbit. Adobe killed GoLive, which is still my web authoring tool of choice.
May: Ten-year anniversary of the iMac. I no longer have mine; ended up donating it to a charity.
June: Yes tour canceled. Disappointing, but I could understand why. Flooding in Iowa destroys Sutliff Bridge.
July: Rush appeared on the Colbert Report.
August: Broke Moveable Type, again. Created a vanity portal: jimlosby.com.
September: Bought an iPod Touch, which I've been happy with, aside from the lack of a camera. Lance Armstrong unretires. Continued to break Moveable Type, although it was my host, not me, doing the bulk of the damage.
October: Pretty much fixed the weblog, finally, then stopped posting for the year. Laziness set in.
Well, that's it for 2008...
