Feels like the Bleak Midwinter these days.
Since some shopping has already been done, time to get a head start on wrapping.
From Jon Anderson's(!) Three Ships album from the early 80s.
OK, two tracks by Billy May and his Orchestra today. First, let's start a movement to put the Santa Claus back in Christmas.
Bonus track: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Mambo by Billy May and his Orchestra.
Guess I'm a traditionalist at heart, which means Bing Crosby, the cornerstone of Christmas Music. Today's pick is Bing Crosby's Do You Hear What I Hear?
Bonus Track: (Everybody's Waitin' for) The Man with the Bag by Kay Starr
Day 4 of the musical Advent calendar. Probably my favorite contemporary take on a classic. Since it snowed....
Bonus track, since I couldn't pick just one: We Wish you the Merriest
Trying to keep things seasonal with Dean:

Let's start things slowly. A handful of Christmas decoration are up in the neighborhood and some folks have their trees up already, which I just will never understand. That said, the holiday season is upon us. No snow just yet.
First up: Christmas is coming. From the only modern musical classic, A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Enjoy!
