Picked up this tale of a larger-than-life Hollywood story after hearing people talk it up in various podcasts over the last year or so. Looking forward to great stories about the 1960s and 1970s movie business.
Picked up a copy of Cosmos recently after reading Age of Wonder. time to learn more about astronomy after reading so much about Herschel.

Picked this up as a result of a couple recommendations. So far, so good.
Just on a John McPhee kick for a bit. Learning about 18-wheelers, barges, ocean tanker training, and coal trains.
Plucked this out of the bookcase over the weekend—didn't even realize I owned it. Bought it used some time ago, I guess. Should be easier going than Assembling California or The Control of Nature. Finished July 10.
Decided to do a little historical reading next, so looks like a couple books on the Battle of Britain, which I know little about. Finished June 23.
