Decided to get a little escapism in my reading, so I pulled out one of the Pern books that I hadn't read in a long time.
Of course, this turned into a Ninth Pass Pern marathon (Dragonriders trilogy, Harper Hall trilogy, Renegades, All the Weyrs, and Skies of Pern) along with the first two books in the chronology (Dragonsdawn and Chronicles of Pern). I'll save the other stuff (Moreta, Second Pass stuff) for later, and eventually get to the newest titles written by McCaffrey's son.
